The company was established in January 1991 as a sole trader. At the end of 1992, it starts importing casings for cold cuts and this has been its main activity until 1997. That year, it adds to its assortment the import of sub-products and some types of meat for processing. Meanwhile, the sales of casings are developing rapidly and this has resulted in “S&K” being granted with exclusive rights by C.D.S GmbH – Germany for distribution of their production on the Bulgarian Market.

At the beginning of the year 2000, in order to respond to the demand on the local market, “S&K” has established contact with RAPS & Co. GmbH Austria – one of the leaders in manufacturing butcher’s seasonings in Europe. After three years of hard work, both companies have signed an exclusive rights’ agreement for the distribution of all the products of “RAPS & Co.” GmbH, in Bulgaria.
